From the crudely woven rugs and the leathery animal skin rugs brought in by the hunters, area rugs have been in our lives since early civilization. Area rugs have so much history and are about the only thing from the that time period still in style today.

With hard surface floors back in vogue, such as hardwood, laminate, and tile, area rugs are experiencing area wide popularity in home d�cor. History shows what was old truly becomes new again.

Hardwood floors beautifully graced many homes and planted the idea of wealth, and significant charm in the early 1900�s. Area rugs served a purpose area wide, even then, for hard surface floors.
