Bathroom Sinks : Considerations During Replacement


Before you replace a sink in your bathroom you should take some items into consideration before you begin tearing out sinks and cabinets.

Look to see if you can just replace the sink top and not the entire vanity as this will save you time, effort, and money.

Measure to see the size of the new vanity or sink, as you may find that the new cabinet is smaller which means you may have to replace the flooring as well.

Match the color of the pedestal or cabinet with the sink so that they do not clash.

Measure twice (or three or four times!) before going to purchase a new sink or vanity.

If you need more floor space then you may want to consider replacing your cabinet with a pedestal sink.

Not all sinks and cabinets are the same and you may need to purchase more, or new, parts to replace the ones in the old sink.
