Bedroom Design : Sitting Area

A sitting area is more important than you may think in a bedroom, even a room in which you think you do not have room for one.

A sitting area in a bedroom allows you a space to relax and read a book without messing up the bed, or sit and talk to someone while they dress for an event.

Even a small chair or bench may be all you need to create a sitting area, a simple place that will allow you to put on your shoes in the morning.

Be careful, though, a sitting area may also seem like a great place to throw clothes you don't fold from the dryer or coats as you come in the house. Keep the sitting area clean and clutter free so that it can be used for what it is meant for!
