Budget Kids Rooms : Bed and Bedding

The bed and the bedding in a kid's room can often be one of the most expensive aspects. Because of this, you want to be careful about what you choose since kids are notorious for changing their taste frequently, one day all they talk about is Thomas the Train and then, a sudden switch and you find yourself knowing everything about Bob the Builder.

Because kids change what they like so often, keep the bed and bedding simple. Don't go with themes and use simple solid colors. You can always throw a Dora the Explorer pillow on the bed that will be easier, and less expensive, to change out, than an entire character bedding ensemble.
