Decorating Dorm Rooms

Dorm rooms are notorious for being difficult to decorate. My dorm room was in a basement with block walls and one wall taken up with a long desk and bookshelves, this was just when college students were beginning to bring computers to school, so my oversized desktop took over that small area. We made do but it was a tight fit. Most of our decor consisted of magnets on our mini fridge and whatever we could tape to the walls.

Dorm room decorating has come a long way and it is no longer as difficult to find fun ways to design a room around you and your roommate.
