Many women have their dream wedding in mind long before they even find the partner to stand up with them. While it may not be possible to have live tigers gracing the edges of your reception, it is possible to have a beautiful dream wedding on a budget.

It is important to look at each of the important sections of the wedding; the dress, the ceremony, photography and the reception. Each couple needs to decide which areas are more important to them.

Perhaps the bride has had her perfect dress picked out since she was little and the groom would like to have a large reception. If these are the two most important aspects to the couple then the financial budget of other areas could be reduced. The costs of the location of the ceremony or the photographer would need to be less to make room for the added cost of the dress and the reception.

If the ceremony and the photography are most important then a less expensive dress would need to be found and the reception could be held at a family member�s home. By going in to these situations knowing what your budget is it can make it easier when you make decisions. For example, if you know you must spend less than four hundred dollars on your dress then do not even look at anything higher. Do not let the sales person talk you into a higher priced dress when there are so many beautiful dresses available for less.

Before you begin buying items and reserving services for your wedding make a list of the items you want and the most you are willing to spend as well as the items or services that are least important to you. Keeping to your budget will allow you to have a beautiful dream wedding on a budget and this lest will remind you of areas where you can spend less so that you can spend more in another area.

Everything from the cake to the type of meal at the reception to the amount of people invited to be a part of the ceremony should be taken into consideration when you are planning your wedding.

Remember that simple is often better and the less frippery around the bride the more she will stand out. Most brides would rather that the love of her and her new husband are remembered and not whether their cake was two or ten tiers. With a little work and compromise you can have a dream wedding on a budget.
