Engineered Hardwood
Expect engineered hardwood to withstand a lot of the abuse that other hardwoods wouldn’t be able to stand up to.

Available in pretty much any species of hardwood, engineered hardwood flooring is a process where the product is made up of a core of hardwood, plywood, or HDF and a top layer of hardwood veneer that is glued on the top surface of the core.

This process is not the photographic process you see in laminate wood flooring. The hardwood will have the characteristics of the wood species it was made from.

The stability of engineered hardwood in this way is great. Hardwood engineering provides better stability when introduced to moisture or heat problems that certainly cause problems for the solid hardwood floors.

Take the time to investigate all the requirements. Review the new and positive improvements in engineered hardwood, including hardwood installing, and hardwood hardness for your area of installation.
